Ultramarine Burnt Umber Permanent Alizarine Cadmium Yellow Deep Titanium White See the hi-res version, zoom into different parts of the painting or buy a print etc here: Enjoyed painting this with a slightly different palette to usual as I used cadmium yellow deep & permanent alizarin for the first time along with the usual colours above. Started with some loose painterly lines in burnt umber and then gradually added thin layers of colour to build up the deep shadows and darks. The interactives allow for very subtle highlights to be readily blended and the cadmium deep yellow background makes the dark hide of the angus bull really pop.
