This week, I create a mixed media painting inspired by the flowers in my garden. Working en plein air I draw and paint flowers and plants using Sharpie markers, inktense pencils, interference acrylics, interactive acrylics and acrylic paint marker pens on A2 mixed media paper. The finished painting is a stylised, vibrant depiction of roses, hydrangea and string of pearls plants.
