Materials used: Daler Rowney Mixed media art boards, Winsor and Newton field easel, Derwent Inktense blocks, Atelier interactive acrylics, winsor and newton watercolour marker pens. This week I'm back at Fistral Beach in Cornwall creating an en plein air mixed media study of a surfer walking back up the beach from the sea. I start with inktense blocks to create a series of washes, switch to acrylics for the rest of the painting and add a few finishing touches with some watercolour markers.
