This week, I show you a really quick and fun technique that combines en plein air sharpie pen sketching with en plein air watercolour painting to create a cows in  landscape impressionist painting with trees and hedges in the background. These rust red cattle, Red Poll breed were found in a field near Starcross in Devon.

Materials used: Daler-Rowney mixed media paper A4, black sharpie pen, Winsor & Newton watercolour set, round and flat synthetic brushes, Winsor and Newton field easel
