The Sunday Art Show - Using a wheel of fortune to choose colours used in a ballroom dancers Sharpie drawing

Have you ever let fate decide your creative direction? This week I use a wheel of fortune (www.wheeldecide.com) to select 3 colours from a range of Sharpie marker pens. Then I use this colour combination to create a drawing of a pair of ballroom dancers. I start out putting down some loose gestural lines to depict the energy and flow of the dance, next I refine lines with the second colour. Finally, I block in different sections of both male and female dancers using the third and second colours.
Here are the materials I used:
Daler-Rowney Mixed media paper
Sharpie pens

This is a fun little experiment that can lead to new creative avenues to explore!
