'A for Armadillo' - this drawing represents my first step towards creating an animal alphabet of drawings using just a black sharpie marker pen and mixed media paper. This sketch depicts an armadillo standing on some grass captured with simple but expressive line work along with some selective cross-hatching and patterning to efficiently represent form and texture.
