"Morning Mist in the Exe Valley" - Driving up Wrefords Lane then turning right onto Pennsylvania Road, round the back of the University in Exeter Devon, one can look across the rolling green, hedge lined fields that form the valley walls of the River Exe and the distant peaks of Dartmoor beyond. The other morning, after a cold frosty night, white swirling mist was trapped in the valley, and there were purple and pink clouds in the sky. I've tried to capture the sense of otherworldly light and the wide range of colours that are present in the winter foliage at this time of year. I always feel lucky to live in Devon, but particularly so on this morning.
