Artist's Description
'On the hillside' - mixed media, watercolor and acrylic painting of sheep on a hill side on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon. On a trip to see the Katharine Lightfoot exhibition at the Great Barn near Exeter, I saw this view as I was driving along and was inspired to create this restful autumnal scene using loose watercolour washes, lively watercolor brush work and then switched to interactive acrylic to create the sheep and foreground.
