'Windy Day At The Beach' - this en plein air painting was created using acrylic paint diluted with sea water and there is even a little bit of English sand mixed in with the paint as the wind would periodically sweep a little of the beach onto the work! A sense of light and perhaps an impending rain storm have been captured in impressionist style. This was painted while sitting on the sand at Sandy Bay beach near Exmouth while looking across the sea to the Devon hills.
