This pheasant picture was a WIP from 3 years ago and was inspired by a pheasant that came walking past our house, something of a surprise as we live in town (though relatively close to some country lanes and fields). I was reminded of the painting the other day when I again, saw a pheasant in town, this time crossing the road at a traffic lights-controlled pedestrian crossing!
