'Let's get together' - inspired by a herd of black cattle in a field near the Double Locks pub in Exeter, Devon, England, this painting came to life using a range of media: started with watercolor marker pens, then added fluorescent conventional acrylic to block everything in. Once dry, interactive acrylics were used to work the animals up to completion. The finished painting captures the heat of a summer day, the grace of these black steer, and the multitude of colors that come to life when the sun hits their black hides.
New work and videos uploaded every Sunday.
