Description

'On my way' is a painting of a hereford steer discovered in a field near the River Exe in Devon. These hereford cattle were observed on a trip to the Turf Locks pub and I took a few reference photos. This breed of cow is distinctive becuase of its reddish brown hide and white face, chest and belly. Painted using interactive acrylic paint, this animal makes for a striking image against the bright green of the grass and deep blue sky.
