This is a detail of "Looking through the Heather" showing two belted galloway cows wandering through a Dartmoor landscape. One cow is in full side view and looking at the viewer while the other seems to have just wandered in from the right hand side of the frame and is perhaps surprised to see she is being watched. This image was inspired by cattle encountered when walking on Dartmoor.
